The Alarm Hub was formed in 2017 by Simon McGeorge and Billy Lucken after identifying a gap in the market for the level of expertise and service they can offer. With a combined total of over 30 years in the fire protection industry, Simon and Billy have spent the past 10 years working on numerous fire systems and fire risk assessment projects together from conception through to completion.
Over the years, Simon and Billy realised that nearly every company they came across was being failed by their current provider, or they had legislation compliance issues. This frustration inspired The Alarm Hub’s vision:
“To set a higher standard within the fire protection industry, setting the benchmark for other companies to follow whilst growing our networking and promoting good fire safety practices, ultimately saving lives.”
The whole team at The Alarm Hub is passionate about doing things properly, and ensuring all clients are compliant with current legislation. We provide our services at a reasonable cost, while making sure that no corners are cut in this business and life-critical area.
Autonomous, resourceful and highly experienced, both Simon and Billy work with all fire protection systems, but specialise in Autronica, Morley, Kentec and Advanced. Working as lead project engineers on a wide range of contracts, including UK banks, hospitals, pharmaceutical companies and numerous commercial sectors, the team is highly experienced in commissioning large scale networks, as well as smaller projects.
Simon and Billy both have a high level of expertise and qualifications under their belts when it comes to fire risk assessments. Having worked across a diverse range of sectors, they have the knowledge and experience to assess and design systems for even the most complex of premises.

Meet The Team
Simon has dedicated his career to fire safety and has over 19 years within the fire protection industry. He is also an associate member of the Institute of Fire Prevention Officers.
Simon offers a wealth of knowledge and expertise with design, fire safety consultancy and fire risk assessments. He is an invaluable asset to many sectors across the UK, including housing and commercial, assisting with high risk specialist projects.

Billy has over 15 years' experience within the fire and security industry and brings an invaluable wealth of knowledge and experience to the business.
Billy's expertise in installation and commissioning has lead him to work on some of the largest fire detection systems in Europe.
Billy is responsible for the technical aspect of The Alarm Hub, and has a strong electrical background and is certified fire risk assessor.
Working within the fire industry for 12 years as an account manager, Shelley’s role is to ensure you are taken care of, right from your very first, initial enquiry.
Shelley is passionate about
