Fire Alarm Design and Project Support

Fire detection and alarm-system design, specification, technical review, commissioning review and project support for new and existing buildings.

Supporting your project stages

System planning and design

Development of fire-alarm design information and specifications appropriate to the agreed brief, building and project stage.

Project delivery

Technical support, site visits and documented review of fire-alarm matters during design and construction.

Reviewing third-party designs

Review of externally prepared design information against the agreed brief, applicable standards and available project evidence.

Testing and co-ordination

Review of commissioning information, cause-and-effect records and relevant system-interface evidence within the agreed scope.

Expert reviews

Technical peer review or design verification with the scope and independence of the review stated clearly.

Final records and sign-off

Support with the collation and review of relevant drawings, test records, certificates and handover information. Formal certification remains the responsibility of the appointed certificating organisation.

Design and independent review

Design and review are distinct activities. The scope, responsibilities and independence requirements are agreed for each appointment; a review does not replace statutory approval or certification.

Project support through to handover

The Alarm Hub can support technical co-ordination, installation inspection, commissioning review, action close-out and the collection of relevant handover evidence.
