How We Work

We provide structured fire-safety consultancy from early project definition through design, construction, handover and occupation. The scope is agreed around the building, project stage, available evidence and responsibilities of the client and wider team.

A clear, evidence-based process
Our approach is proportionate to the project and may include the following stages.
01
Define the brief
02
Review and develop
03
04
05
We establish the project objectives, building context, responsibilities, information available and any matters requiring early clarification.
We review the relevant design information, survey findings, standards and project constraints, then develop proportionate technical advice.
Coordinate and report
We communicate findings clearly, coordinate with the client and design team, and issue practical reports, drawings or recommendations appropriate to the agreed scope.
Inspect and verify
Where commissioned, we undertake site inspection, installation review or construction-stage technical assurance and record observations requiring action or further evidence.
Support close-out
We help the project team resolve technical actions, assemble supporting evidence and carry the design intent through towards handover and occupation.
Quality assurance
Formal qualifications and continuing professional development are supported by defined quality-assurance processes, technical review and third-party organisational certification. The extent and independence of any review is stated clearly within the agreed appointment.
